General

1. This on-line messaging website ('TravelChat^®') is open to anyone to join and use so long as their intentions and/or conduct on here are not improper or illegal.
2. The copyright in this website vests in Travel Chat Ltd which owns and administers it.
3. These are the Terms and Conditions which govern Users' use of TravelChat^®. In these Terms and Conditions, the words 'You' and 'User(s)' are interchangeable.
4. 'Users' are defined as individuals who have registered to use this website.
5. There will be no charge for users to use the system by registering via this version.

You accept that:-

1. You are responsible for selecting your TravelChat^® password and for maintaining its confidentiality.
2. You are entirely responsible for the information you load on your Profile and for what you say in any messages you send to your contacts via TravelChat^®.
3. TravelChat^® has no control over the content of your Profile nor of any messages you and other Users send, which may not necessarily reflect the views or policies of TravelChat^®.
4. TravelChat^® makes no warranties, express or implied, as to the content or the accuracy and reliability of any material or information that you send other Users or they send you.
5. TravelChat^® is not responsible for any aspect of the relationships between its Users and is not responsible for their conduct, whether online or offline.
6. You need to supply TravelChat^® with some basic personal data when you register, so you can be identified both to your contacts and by the server.
7. Amongst the personal data you supply on registration must be your email address so TravelChat^® can send you emails alerting you to messages which have been sent to you when you are off-line, and also emails to tell you when another User has invited you to become a contact.
8. TravelChat^® periodically needs to use your email address to tell you of developments, enhancements and changes to the service, and you further accept that it may also send you marketing messages and emails regarding special offers and services available to you. As a user if you change your mind you can advise us if you do not wish to receive the periodic mailings containing industry offers by either clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that are sent or emailing admin@travelchat.com to be removed.
9. This Agreement shall remain in force both while you are a User and after you cease to be a User.

You undertake that:-

1. All registration and profile information you submit is truthful and accurate and you will maintain its accuracy in the future.
2. You will not harass, abuse, or threaten other Users.
3. You will not transmit via TravelChat^® any threatening, defamatory, pornographic, or racist material, or any material that is otherwise unlawful, or that makes use of copyrighted content without permission from the owner.
4. You will not use TravelChat^® for any illegal purposes.
5. You will not use TravelChat^® for advertising purposes.
6. You will not use the TravelChat^® username or password of another User at any time and will notify TravelChat^® at once if you suspect any unauthorized use of your TravelChat^® account or access to your password.
7. You will not seek to modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this website without our written permission.
8. You will indemnify and hold TravelChat^®, and its officers, agents, partners and employees, harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of TravelChat^®'s services in violation of this Agreement and/or arising from a breach of this Agreement and/or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth above and/or if any content that you load onto or send through TravelChat^® causes TravelChat^® to be liable to another, provided that this was caused by culpable conduct.
